These strategies may not be a replacement for medical treatment.  They cannot take away from your treatment, only add to it. Please be cautious when trying to administer techniques for those suffering with severe osteoporosis, Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Gullian-Barre Syndrome(GB), Myastenia Gravis (MG), Multiple Sclerosis (MS) or any other chest muscular wasting disease. You may need a neurologist. Your panic or anxiety may be due to a lung problem either obstructive (retained secretions or reactive airways) or restrictive. You may have a need for a pulmonologist. If you have an acute or chronic pain issue due to an injury or malformation, modify or eliminate the exercise. Diaphragmatic or abdominal breathing may cause a decrease in blood pressure; be cautious if you are hypotensive. It could also be spiritual. You should seek out a bible believing church (2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ) (2 Timothy 1:7  For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power and of love, and of a sound mind.) If none of these strategies work for you, seek out a psychologist or a psychiatrist if you haven’t already. Do not stop taking your medications without the advice of a physician.
